Wireless LAN (WLAN) installations offer companies a way to improve their business operations and increase revenues. Increasing mobility and flexibility provides tangible employee productivity gains. Providing wireless connectivity to a small segment of a larger environment can let companies measure the gains of a wireless pilot site and in turn, recognise the advantages of extending their wireless capability across the entire organisation.
